I took prep classes for this test, but did the majority of studying alone. I took the test twice. The first I went in almost cold and got a 31, the second time with more studying I got a 34. 34 on Writing, 35 on Math, 36 on Reading, 32 on Science and a 9 on the Essay. From all of my preparation I know how to break down the test and explain the thinking behind scoring well. |

Algebra II |

I took Honors Algebra II/Trigonometry in tenth grade and earned an A+ for my hard work. I even scored a perfect 116 on the final exam. Algebra II was very useful in complicated calculus and was used often. |
Biology |
Proficiency: Expert
|
I took both Honors Biology in ninth grade and AP Biology in twelfth grade. I received an A in both courses for my hard work and was in the top of my class both years. I mastered the basics from Honors in AP biology. One emphasis my teacher had was to be able to explain the concepts both in writing and verbally so I have become a very effective tutor in this subject area. |
Calculus I |
Proficiency: Experienced

I took AP Calculus BC my senior year and revieced an A- however that was both Calculus I and II in the same course. I struggled with Calculus II, but am very good at Calculus I. I plan to skip a semester of Calculus I in college because of how well I already know it. |
Chemistry |
This is one of my top subjects!

Chemistry is one of my best subjects. I took Honors Chemistry in tenth grade and AP Chemistry in eleventh. I received an A+ in both for my efforts and a 5 on the AP exam. I was the very best student both years. It is a subject I have already and hope to continue tutoring. |
Elementary Math |

I took Honors Geometry in ninth grade and maintained an above 100 average during the entire year. I helped my sister through her course, which both refreshed and strengthened my understanding of the concepts during my senior year. |
Pre-Algebra |

I took Advanced Pre-Algebra in seventh grade and received an A for my efforts. I was at the top of my class, and as math builds upon its-self, I have been using those concepts every since in both science and math courses. |
Pre-Calculus |
Proficiency: Expert
|
I took Honors Pre-Calculus in eleventh grade and received an A+ for my hard work. Performing so well in this course allowed me to skip AP Calculus AB and move straight onto AP Calculus BC the following year. These concepts were again used in AP Calculus BC, so I know them very well and can explain them effectively. |
PSAT |

I took prep classes for the SAT but took this test mainly as an indicator of where i needed to focus for the real SAT. However, the tests are very similar and because of my expertise on the SATs I feel beyond confident in both my ability to teach the concepts and improve scores. |
SAT - Math |
This is one of my top subjects!
Proficiency: Expert

SAT Math is one of my specialties. Math always came to me, but this test was not the most difficult to study for. I Scored a 770 on the math section, and 790 on the SAT II Math I Subject Test. I know the test inside and out and am very good at helping people to learn the strategies to understand what the question is asking and answer it in a timely maner. |
Trigonometry |
Proficiency: Expert

I took Honors Algebra II/Trigonometry in tenth grade and earned an A+ for my hard work. I even scored a perfect 116 on the final exam. I continued using trigonometry in advanced calculus so I mastered the basics in this course as they were common knowledge in Calculus. |

I have been playing trumpet since the fifth grade and have learned and mastered the basics. I take private lessons, have been featured as a top member of my ensembles, as a soloist, and selected for special ensembles. I have mentored others to help them help the quality of the ensemble, and am confident in my ability to teach others what I have learned. |
