After graduating from college, I served in Americorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) for two years. Americorps NCCC is a community service organization for young adults between the ages of 18 and 24. The projects that Corps members do fall into the categories of environmental stewardship, education, disaster relief, and infrastructure improvement. I served as a Corps member in the southwestern region of the United States.
