Trombone is one of my top subjects! Trombone is my instrument of choice (aside from voice). I have experience performing in Doane College's top band, the Symphonic Wind Ensemble for four years. I have also performed in Doane College's Jazz Ensemble for four years, along with various other groups including brass quintets and larger brass ensembles.

My teaching style is tailored to the student. If I see an opportunity to improve the student's learning by using a different style, I will take it.
Most of my experience comes from substitute teaching. I have been a certified local substitute teacher since September of 2010. I have taught everything from math and science to physical education and music while working as a local substitute teacher. I was able to provide additional service by mentoring individuals who were struggling with material in lessons and assignments. I am currently a general music teacher at Samsula Academy, an elementary school in New Smyrna Beach, FL. I teach general music classes to students in grades K-5, as well as chorus and band. My comments on tutoring Trombone : I would say that I am capable of teaching trombone but it would have to be at the beginner level
