I like to discover what my students already know about the topic and to expose any misconceptions. Brainstorming activities work well for me. I like to help define the topic in common terms, not the classic dictionary method. I use presentation, discussion, videos and hands on activities. Most of what I do is inquiry based. I have a passion for teaching but waited until I gained some "real world" experience. I found that this has helped me relate to my students since I am able to make meaningful connections to their learning.

After graduating from a Technical High School, I taught 6th grade class from 1998-1999 in my home country. As an new immigrant in 2001, with 2 1/2 years of College in Electronics, I was very much driven to continue my education here in the US. My former studies were in French and thus had to start my college education over in 2002. I obtained my Associate Degree in Basic Engineering from QCC and later obtained my BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from WPI. I have work experiences as an Design, Test/Diagnostic Engineer. I tutored a friend child 10th grade Algebra and helped bring his score up two grades. During my school years at WPI I learned German and completed my Interactive Qualifying Project in Germany.
