I feel my calling is working with children. My experience volunteering as a youth basketball and baseball coach has showed me that a child’s ability to learn is unlimited. I have a Political Science degree from Lousiana State University and I had planned to use that degree to get into Law School. However, I love working with children therefore I decided to get an Alternate Route Degree in Teaching Elementary Education.
