Improving Student Achievement

I believe that all children have the ability to learn. They each learn in a different way and at different rates but they all are able to learn. I promote a variety of teaching styles. Differentiated instruction is vital for student success. I believe in exposing students to different types of learning. My comments on tutoring Spelling : I learned to spell use small tricks such as: the word business. I learned to spell it as bus-i-ness. I broke down the words into smaller words to help me learn them for spell test and vocabulary.

My comments on tutoring Spelling : Teaching elementary classes for over 40 years I have spent much time teaching Spelling. I know that students have different learning styles and therefore adapt my teaching style for them.

I have enjoyed very much working with children and I know that every student has his own learning style and my teaching must be adapted to them.
