As I graduated from college with my California State Teaching Credential,I was able to teach 2nd grade for the Los Angeles City School District for three years. During that time I sought to gain as much experience and expertise as possible to prepare me for teaching in a school for missionary children overseas. I studied Spanish intensively for a year in Mexico preparing me to work in Santiago, Chile where I taught first and second grade for almost 40 years. I have tutored for Acers tutoring in Orlando for a full year. I have full experience with teaching reading and writing, as well as somer lower level algebra and mathematic skills. The kids have ranged from ages 8-14. As well, I have been giving guitar lessons to kids between the ages of 10-14. The children have all been able to pick up quickly, and being a song writer, I encourage the kids to seek full creativity in their music and learning. The Student Comes First

I allow my teaching style to mold itself to each individual student, finding methods of communicating the information that best suit the learning style of my student.
