I love helping people to see the other side of things, and understand how simple complex systems can be. Mainly, I like to inspire thought, and provoke an individual learning style in all those I mentor. In language and English, I believe reading diversity are key, in math I instill a grasp for formulas so that the child merely hast to insert numbers and follow routine, In history it's important to relate to today's issues and follow up boring facts with interesting relational occurrences. A teacher must care about people. It is not enough to have the knowledge of the material. You must be very aware of body language and read the group to determine if you need to restate the concept. A good teacher will ask a question and will not answer until a group discussion occurs. A good teacher ensures the group feels comfortable to think outside the box withou fear of embarrassment. Use of several medias in addition to course material is key to keep the attention of the group. However, again, none of this is effective if you do not have a genuine desire to see the knowledge you have of the material transferred to the individuals receiving the message.
