Spend most of my spare time drawing and painting. Prefer one on one depending on subject. I am a retired and disabled veteran from the USMC. I can teach all of the basics, including line, texture, form, depth, composition, color, lighting, shading, blending, blocking, gesture drawing, etc. Previous art experience includes a completion of 2D Design, 3D Design, and Basic Drawing I and II all at college level with a strong demonstrative understanding of basic concepts and techniques, including line, texture, form, depth, composition, color (including local, optical, monochromatic, analogous, triadic and tetradic), lighting (directional/atmospheric), shading, blending, gesture drawing, blocking, expressive mark, etc. Also completed History of Art and Architecture I and II at college level. My most commonly used mediums include pencils, graphite, and charcoal (vine and compressed). I am also quite familiar with conte, ink wash, colored pencils, oil pastels and chalk pastels.
