Experience Summary
I earned a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Plymouth State in New Hampshire in 1975. I have 16 years teaching experience at the elementary level teaching 5 years of 2nd grade, 8 years of 4th grade, 1 year of 5th grade, 1 year of 1st grade, and 1 year of 5/6 Language Arts and Science Resource teacher experience. I also taught 1 year at the Junior High level teaching 8th grade Pre-Algebra.
Teaching Style
I love teaching because of the difference it makes in a child's life. I am easy to get along with and have a great sense of humor. I will apply all learning styles possible in given circumstances to ensure success and the sense of accomplishment. I am very dedicated to other interests and activities in students lives. Given the proper learning environment, structure, boundaries, tools, guidance, and willingness to learn I believe every child is capable of learning.
