A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that all children can learn and all children are capable of learning. But, all students learn differently, so, I feel that by changing lessons and incorporating different things into each one to accomodate most, or all, students is necessary. When children are able to learn and gain experiences on their own, with little or no teacher intervention, they learn at their best. By doing fun activities, children are able to gain and retain knowledge better. I want to be able to help children as much as I can, while still letting them learn on their own by making new discoveries.
As a graduate with a BS degree in Elementary Education, I have gained knowledge in the practice of teaching elementary school. I have been able to observe classrooms as well as student teach.
