A Little Bit About Me...

Through my volunteer work with church organizations I have over five years of experience mentoring others, which has given me an excellent understanding of the need for quality educators. I worked as a teacher in Kansas before moving to Oklahoma, where I currently work at a local Boys and Girls Club. There tutoring is a part of the daily activities and youth in various grade levels ask for help with numerous subject matter. As an honor's student who tutored other student athletes I was driven to continue on and receive a Graduate level education. Although English came very easy to me so did Computers and programming so I chose to receive my Bachelor in Business Administration and a Master in Management Information Systems. My Master's Degree has given me the opportunity to teach at the college level, assist Fortune 500 Companies with the selection of Enterprise Solutions and training those employees on these solutions.

I feel that we all have the aptitude to learn, yet each individual discovers that aptitude in a different manner. My first and most important goal is always to convey this to the student in an effort to let them know I believe in their abilities. The thing that allows a student to most effectively reach his or her possibilities is confidence. The future of any nation lies with the quality of the education received by its students, and this education is only as useful as the extent to which its possessors can communicate.
