Recently began tutoring elementary level math and reading, and am loving it. I have found that I thoroughly enjoy working with the children, and find it very rewarding, and enriching. I will only be taking elementary kids as students!

I am currently enrolled in highschool but I tutored many of my cousins for the past several years so I'm great with young kids! I don't have any proper work experience but I'm hoping this will be my first.I have volunteered at many elementary schools and I can speak fluent Hindi and Bengali. Graduate student looking to help students achieve their goals!

I think teaching styles should differ based on the preferred learning style of the student. The teaching style should play on the strengths and preferences of that particular student. That being said, I foster a student-centered approach to learning. This approach encourages the student play an equal, active role in the learning process, rather than a passive role. A cooperative approach is important so the student can feel like he or she is an active and capable participant in learning the material.
