The type of instructor I am working to become and remain does not view teaching as a job but, views teaching as an ongoing mission. My job will be to ensure that all students learn and not just to teach. The knowledge conveyed will become applicable philosophies and skills in the lives of my students that can shape their towns, communities, and even possibly the world. I have always valued education. I can remember comparing grades and discussing what we learned in class as early as 2nd grade. We had a healthy competitive spirit that helped us grown into productive adults. I first began tutoring in an afterschool program in 1995. I have always loved assisting students with learning. I have even considered getting my teaching certification. I currently have my MBA in Business management and feel most comfortable teaching math reading and English to children ages 5-12.
