My comments on tutoring Math : I have done math in high school and college right up to calculus II and Algebra III, and I have been tutoring to math from elementary up to college level.

Tutor with Real Life Experience

I have always approached a teaching lesson as a learning opportunity. Learning is a fundamental skill. If you don't have your basic fundamentals, your student will have difficulty advancing. So, I always start with basic fundamentals such as; note taking, study skills, and comprehension! All sciences demand the ability to link concepts together. Ex. cells make up tissues, tissues make up organs, organs make up organ systems,etc.....! By understanding the make-up of cellular structures and relating that to tissue functions the students can fully understand a subject. This proves true with all subjects. I am capable of both structured and informal teaching styles depending upon the situation. I find that when smaller increments of course instruction is followed up with the student demonstrating proficiency and comprehension the overall learning experience is maximized. When I was in high school, the highest math class I had ever taken was Calculus BC.
