My teaching style is simple. I apply real-world applications to each subject helping each student find that connection for better understanding. Making the learning experience fun helping my students retain the information that is learned. I have been providing tutoring and music lessons for 20 years. I studied French Horn on full scholarship at the University of Arizona. I have been playing music professionally (getting paid ;-) since I was 18. I play just about every wind instrument know to man. I like children to get up and move and learn. All students learn differently and it is up to me to learn what it is and then use that to help them learn. All through college I Tutored children at-risk and/or having a disability. I determined individual needs and apply a variety of methods to help children learn. As a first grade teaching after school I tutor first grader with reading and math. I like children to learn in a fun way. Students need to get up and learn.
