My style is liberal , with tutory in one to one, my experience in retail stores make my style in a easy going. I born to be a teacher, my Mother was a teacher in elementary level. At soon I grow and have my basic skill, I start to teaching in diferents level in Mexico, I participe in a program to help the adults to finish high scool, and start to be prepaired for the college, when I start the University, I help a lot of under graduated high school students to be prepaid for the College
I worked for a college level school in Mexico(Conalep)for 5 years,use to teach Math,Biology, Pnewmatic, Hydraulic, and in the past years I work in diferent levels of comunity teaching conferences for my hispanic neighbords. According to me teaching is the process of imparting knowledge or skills. It’s about not only motivating students to learn, but teaching them how to learn, and doing so in a manner that is relevant, meaningful, and memorable. I believe that knowledge should not be imparted to students in a way that is stressful. Rather students should be helped to understand the world from their own phenomenological vantage points and day to day experience. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is to make sure that those I am helping understand what is being talked about. If they do not, we will keep working at it until clear. Since all teaching ways do not work for all students, I try to figure out what would work best for those I am currently tutoring, so that they will succeed.
I have tutored through the organization Literacy Volunteers in Flagstaff and Lake Havasu. Additionally, I tutored English in a refugee camp in Zambia, when I was with the Peace Corps. While living in Bangladesh, I tutored adults and children in English, as well as other subjects. I taught for three years in Bangladesh at International Turkish Hope School.

I believe in a more visual aspect in learning and teaching. "Hands on" as much as possible. For example, it's easier to learn looking at a mesquite tree than reading about it or looking at a picture of the tree. I try to make learning fun and thrill to the discovery of knowledge. A lot of biology however, is more of a "rote memorization" type of learning. This tends to bore some so I try to make it more real and exciting.
Most of my experience is working as a Wildlife Biologist for the US Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management and the Bureau of Reclamation (1973-2006). I worked as a teaching Assistant for Dr. Bender at ASU (1972). I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Science from Northwest Nazarene College (University)and a Master of Science in Zoology from Arizona State University.
