One of my many passions in life is working with kids, specifically tutoring them. I have found that it is easier to tutor a student when they know that they are surrounded by positivity. With this I am referring to the feeling of comfort and knowing that it's ok to be wrong. I notice more confidence in my students when I establish a friendship with them. In addition to this, letting my students know that even at different ages, we can still relate to one another. As a special education teaching assistant I have tutored every level of education with the exception of adults. I am Cpr and first aid certified, as well as CPI certified. I tutored in ELL for two years in all basic educatiion subjects. I am currently employed by Marana High School/Special Educaation. I haave tutored math, english, science, social studies, and computer educaation. Any tutors goal is to guide a child to a learning experience within that childs comfort zone.
