Experience Summary
Over the course of my twenty-three years I have received an international education by way of inter-continental travel and attendance to a world-class university. I have spent much time in the volunteer and non-profit sectors, both donating my time to various kinds of community aid as well as researching aspects of those communities. Because of the broad spectrum of my educational experience, I have spent much time in various areas of study including: natural & Chinese medicine, anatomy, anthropology, sociology, psychology, dance, writing, photography and studio art. I have tutored students in English, writing, mathematics, sciences, dance and photography.
Teaching Style
Having taught college English in rural China, I have found that I am extremely adaptable in my teaching style. I have the ability to precisely coordinate my teaching techniques with the background and needs of the student in order to create a succesful and executable educational support system. In teaching, I aim to provide the student with a breadth of perspective in any given topic while enhancing their analytical abilities. It is my firm belief that a mindful tutor can help make a mindful student, and that every student deserves systematic and attentive support. In teaching each and every one of my students, I take to heart the philosophy that a good education is absolutely invaluable.
