Love to Teach

I have always believed in "connecting the dots." Knowledge and learning cannot be strictly confined to subject-area teaching. For example, many academic subjects can be studied while one writes, makes art, to creates stories, practices problem solving, or invents solutions to problems we are facing in this modern age. Listening to students and providing opportunities for them to demonstrate knowledge is very important. I never want learning to bore a student. I have several years of tutoring youth at my church. Students range in ages between 4 to 21 years of age. I have tutor students in elementary and middle school math, english, languaage arts and history.
