I have worked with many young students. Reading, math, spelling... I find helping students very fun. Not only does it benefit them but me as well. I am very patient with people of all ages and I do feel that I have made an impact on many children's lives. I am currently a senior in High School but I am volunteering in my local church classes and volunteering for my local Elementary school as well. I have extensive experience tutoring middle school through high school age students. I began tutoring groups of students as an exchange student in Austria, in 2012, working with 5th through 10th grade students in English at the BRG Koeflach (the local high school) where I was compensated as an official English tutor. In 2013, I assisted in German II, I would take half of the large class of over 30 high school students and teach the lesson for the day. In 2014, I assisted with German II, III and IV classes, answering student questions during lessons and helping in the classroom. I have provided one on one tutoring in many topics, including Pre-calculus, Calculus, Art History, U.S. History, Latin I, Biology AP, Chemistry, English as a Second Language, and German levels I, II, III, and IV AP.

I am in my 4th year of college at Texas State University where I have received a mathematics academic achievement award. I am going to Texas State majoring in mathematics and minoring in secondary education. I have completed many math courses as well as teaching courses since I have been at Texas State. I have not professionally tutored before but I have a younger sister who I help with her Pre Algebra homework. I also have two younger cousins that I have helped with homework as well. I prefer to tutor face to face as opposed to online.

Taught to every age! I was in Europe for 9 years and opened my own American English School. Taught every level from pre-school to Engineers. Also translated and wrote policies and procedures for the European Union REACH program. Taught 3d and 4th grade in Germany. I teach in a style which combines different tactics and methods in order to engage the students in the subject. In example, when teaching foreign language I make it a point to incorporate the culture of the native people and their customs along with music and art. Recently graduated, I have taken four years of Spanish. I taught Spanish III and Spanish II last year with classes ranging in size from 31 to 25 as well as having taught French I and French II in the same year.
