Italian is one of my top subjects! I lived in Italy, taught Italian in other countries as well.

All throughout college, I tutored English, Spanish, and German, and taught ESL for the Foreign Language Department After college I completed a TEFL Certification course in Barcelona, and taught private lessons in Spain I then taught English and Spanish at a language school in Sicily, then I taught English and Italian at a language school in Montenegro. I then returned to the States and tutored in the Metro Schools of Nashville until I moved to Atlanta.
Very involved, active, utilizing various methods and approaches to master all aspects of a subject.

I have been teaching Italian language and culture for beginners and advanced/higher levels. For Academic purposes I can tutor as far as grammar, spelling, writing and academic composition, listening, speaking, reading and pronunciation. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught children and adults of all different ages and coming from all different backgrounds. This has helped me to create a very versatile style of teaching. For example, I believe that visual learning is very effective with many students. With these students, especially young children, I like to use colorful materials in order to spark interest and encourage creativity. I also feel that a learning environment with few distractions yet full of activities and study aids is key to creating a healthy and relaxed atmosphere. Working with young adults to increase their understanding of a foreign language has always been my passion. I have found a new level of commitment and compassion through this type of work experience. As a university student I began what would be a lifelong journey into tutoring and teaching. I began tutoring college level Spanish during my freshman year in college.
