My comments on tutoring Painting : I have been teaching Fine Art (Drawing , Painting and Art History) in a private homeschool program and in my home for 18 years . I have been teaching Art and French in a private Homeschool Program for 18 years . My Art classes have included Drawing 1, Drawing 2, Painting, Combined media, and Advanced Portfolio Classes. I have taught younger children, starting at the age of 5 both Art and french as well as adults. In the program where I teach, I have primarily taught high school French levels 1-4. I lived outside of Lausanne Switzerland with a family that did not speak English when I was 17 and became fluent in French. A Little Bit About Me...

Upon graduation from school, I moved to Guatemala, where I was an English teacher to Spanish-speaking students for a year. While there, I was able to work on both my Spanish and teaching skills. I have since been able to help English speakers enhance their Spanish proficiency State-side. I am currently working on my Masters in Counseling.
Each student is different, so addressing how best to teach each one will vary. I have found that the key to helping language students learn is first finding what will motivate them to learn. Learning a new language opens up a whole new world to the student, one they have never known before. Building off of a student's extra-curricular interests- sports, music, art, fashion, or anything else- transforms learning a language from repeating verb charts to becoming more apt to pursuing his interests in an international way.
