I have a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Special Education. I was a Special Education Teacher for two years and I've been a tutor for more than 5 years. I have learned creative ways to teach people with language barriers english from working in Japan. I have worked with all age groups for math, english, science, and reading. I enjoy the opportunity to teach individuals new things and opening their eyes to new experiences.
I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways. I am a patient, easy going, and considerate person. My goal is to create an atmosphere where students learn and retain the information they need. I am a firm believer in teaching through discovery and in providing creative ways to learn information. I believe all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings and learning experiences.
