I have been teaching for 5 years. I have experience in 2nd through 4th grade. I am open to tutoring everywhere from kinder to 5th. I love math and reading. I've taught in all types of areas from Wichita Falls to Irving, and currently I'm teaching in Decatur. I will work hard to approach learning in new ways instead of the traditional learning classroom.
I believe in working collaboratively with each other. Basing lessons on things that you love will will help you see the real life connections and importance of education. If we don't get it one way we will approach it another. Never giving up is my teaching style. I have always had a passion for learning, and helping others learn. In middle school, High School and College, other students came to me for help with assignments. I have been accepted in an Alternative Path to Certification program with A+ Texas Teachers. I have completed the 80 hours training required by Texas and passed the NCLB tests: TExES Science 116 (4 -8), TExES Special Education 161 (EC-12), and the Arizona Biology 07 (9-12). My classroom experience was acquired during 3 1/2 years of teaching science in a high risk high school in Phoenix, AZ. At the school I help enrich the science department with movies, flash cards, outside actives, and plays. I tutored reading, and writing for the state of Arizona.
