My comments on tutoring Elementary Math : I have been studying Elementary Education for the past four years. One of my courses was all about teaching Math to my students. For this course I created games for teaching Math, and have been using the games for the students that I tutor ever since. I have found that students love to learn about Math if it is the form of a game.

I have been working with children for the past seven years. Four of those years have included homeschooling pre-school and pre-kindergarten as well as homework help and tutoring the children that I was babysitting. I love tutoring because it allows me to work one-on-one with my students. Tutoring, also, allows me the opportunity to create the ultimate tutoring experience based off of the students learning style and interest. The students that I conducted homework help and tutoring with were within grades 2nd through 6th. I conducted my Student Teaching in a first grade classroom and loved every minute of it.

Learning Math can be FUN!
