I believe in working collaboratively with each other. Basing lessons on things that you love will will help you see the real life connections and importance of education. If we don't get it one way we will approach it another. Never giving up is my teaching style. If the first way we go about a learning objective doesn't work it will be my job to find a new way to teach it.
I have been teaching for 5 years. I have experience in 2nd through 4th grade. I am open to tutoring everywhere from kinder to 5th. I love math and reading. My degree in Engineering has given me plenty of experience in math and science. I have also had graduate courses in Physics and Engineering. As a graduate student at UNT, I instructed several physics and astronomy labs and learned first hand what teaching can be like. I have since felt that teaching math and science is a career I want to pursue.
I have always had a passion for learning, and helping others learn. In middle school, High School and College, other students came to me for help with assignments. Knowing what it is like to be a student, I try to see from the students point of view. Each student teaches me their own way to learn. I enjoy learning and hope that I can share that joy with others.
