Education is my passion an on this road of life I am always striving to learn new things. Working with children gives me an opportunity to impart knowledge through their surroundings. My style of teaching is both hands on and hands off, I like to give the child an opportunity to try it on their own and make suggestions. I believe that their voice is also important.
My passion for education drives me to a place, where I desire to teach children the joy in reading. In the past I developed a program to teach reading and mathe through culinary arts. Through research I have been able to develop extensive grammatical skills. I believe that in order to bring about change, you have to become the change. Children are like a garden of flowers who need only to be natured and love. In that type of enviroment any child can learn.

A description of my teaching style would be: building relationships. As a teacher I feel I am patient and caring. I feel that in order for children to learn they must feel valued. This is true with all humans. Studies show that students learn best when they feel safe and valued, and this is the type of environment that I like to set in my classroom. I also feel that in order for children to understand and connect to new knowledge, they must first connect to prior knowledge.
