A Little Bit About Me...

Currently I teach first grade in Lexington School District One. I work everyday to help struggling readers and challenge others. I have been “formally” teaching for one year. Before I began teaching in Lexington, I attended the University of South Carolina for a BA in Psychology and MAT in Early Childhood Education. During this time I completed many observations and practicums. Many of these projects involved me working one on one with children to assist and help them learn a new skill. During college and high school I work with the after school program at the YMCA assisting students with their homework, planning activities, etc. I also worked at many local daycares as a caregiver.
