My experiences as an educator have been numerous and continuous throughout my life. I have a Bachelor in Education 1-8th (Science) I have taught all subjects. Actually I am multilingual. I am native Spanish speaker; I can read, write; translate in my language of origin. I also have five years of French, I read and translate better then speaking fluently the reason I really do have anyone to practice speaking the French language. Currently I am teaching myself Farsi (Persian) language, beside Farsi, Japanese. I worked the Berlitz language agency, in which they taught me how to teach any language in the world without really know the language. This method is called the “Berlitz method” The methods of teaching I was instructed when I obtained my Bachelor in Education at the University of Akron Ohio, from 1989-1991, was the following Integrated, Whole language approach and Montessori.

After twenty years working in the environmental, health and safety field, I was motivated to change careers and become a science teacher. As a "second career" teacher, I earned a Master of Education degree at the University of Toledo and am licensed to teach Integrated Science (i.e., Earth and Space Sciences, Life Sciences, and Physical Sciences) for seventh through twelfth grades. I am currently a tutor and mentor for a fifth grade child in Delaware, Ohio via the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. I have gained a tremendous amount of experience working with this student in and out of the classroom, and it has allowed me to develop my teaching skills in all areas of curricula. I tutor my student in each and every one of her subjects. I also informally tutor some of my peers at Ohio Wesleyan University, particularly in Science classes, in which I am most experienced. I am a very interactive teacher. I find it helpful for the students I work with if I am able to relate a lesson to something else with which they are familiar. I like to use tangible learning tools and hands on methods, allowing the student to get the most experience possible with a lesson in order to really grasp and have deep understanding of the material.

I have been a working graphic designer for most of my life after graduation from Ohio State. After 12 years of design I was asked to participate in an art and education program at Chicago Public Schools Autism Program. I was hired on the spot and then continued with education by obtaining a masters degree in special education in Tempe Arizona.
