At the present time I am working at the University of Michigan as a Research Lab Specialist Lead. Beside research this position enables me to interact with students and teach them the biologic basic skills. I am challenged to be creative, nurturing and most of all, patient. During my Ph.D. program I had the opportunity to teach at the European classes (ERASMUS)for college students. This position allowed me to teach to students from all over the world. A Little Bit About Me...

During college I spent a lot of time volunteering with youth. With a BA in psychology, I have learned to be very calm and patient when working with students. I spent 15 years overseas teaching English Conversation. However, I truly enjoy math. During my years of babysitting I assisted children with different homework. I also spent the summer of 2005 working with the Derek Coleman Hoops Festival in which I had to tutor in both math and reading.
I love love love teaching. While teaching I try to be energetic and fun. I try to learn and understand the children's learning style in order to teach them most effectively. I am most satisfied in my teaching when my children truly understand what has been taught. Whether using candy or sports, I think everyone can learn what they need to know by relating it to something they already love.
