Gaining and sharing knowledge has been a driving force throughout my life. Literacy is one of the greatest gifts we can give to our children. Having taught grade levels from preschool to adulthood, I know that everyone learns in their own unique manner and at their own time. My experiences span not only various age groups but different subjects as well,including math, algebra, biology, history, literature, Spanish, grammar, reading/phonics, study skills, and beginning dance. I am trained to use innovative teaching techniques to help students better understand and remember challenging subjects. My fine art background allows me to be creative with lessons. I have been trained to make connections between the subject to be learned and subjects that student enjoys. I strive to make learning enjoyable and memorable for my students.
I received an honors degree from Fairborn High School and Wright State University. Education has always been very important to me. While attending WSU for fine arts, I was reminded of my passion for teaching and decided to also acquire my art education certification.
