Having taught grade levels from preschool to adulthood, I know that everyone learns in their own unique manner and at their own time. My experiences span not only various age groups but different subjects as well,including math, algebra, biology, history, literature, Spanish, grammar, reading/phonics, study skills, and beginning dance. I received an honors degree from Fairborn High School and Wright State University. Education has always been very important to me. While attending WSU for fine arts, I was reminded of my passion for teaching and decided to also acquire my art education certification. During my education program, I was placed in Xenia High School. I was also selected by the art education advisor as one of four students to take part in an innovative teaching class where I learned how to use art and music to teach science and math. I helped design and co-teach an art/math/music lesson to a 6th grade math class in Dayton Public Schools.
