A Little Bit About Me...

During all my time as a student I tried to help my classmates to improve their learning and their grades by tutoring them. I have earned a bachelor degree in Industrial Engineer, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and physics. I am a Spanish native speaker, so I can help students in this language too. In my years of tutoring I have tutored students in mathematics (trigonometry, algebra), physics and English as a second language.
I love math so I truly enjoy helping children to discover the world of math and to be fearless at them. I am patient, easy going but at the same time firm to teach. A Little Bit About Me...

I began teaching and coaching swimming in 1980. In 1984, I extended my teaching experience by volunteering for the Eagle Mount program as a downhill ski instructor for students with several disabilities. At this time I decided to pursue a degree in education, which I completed in 1985. I was hired by the Crane District in Yuma, Arizona in January of 1986 and transferred to the Yuma Union High School District in the Fall. I have taught science and coached swimming since that time. I am Certified in the State of Arizona to teach biology, chemistry and earth science. Through out my career I have taught 14 different science and technology courses.
