My comments on tutoring Homework Help : I have taught elementary, middle, and high school. I am currently teaching psychology at a community college. My experience in education has given me a broad perspective and appreciation for all students at all levels of learning. I am very organized, a people person, and highly motivated. I have a Master's Degree in Counseling, which has helped me to understand the needs of my students so that I can better assist them in the learning process.

I have my BA in social science and a Master's in counseling. I have been in the field of education for twenty years. I have taught in mostly middle and high school and am currently teaching psychology at Mid Michigan Community College. I have worked with youth in many different capacities. I have been told that my classroom does not need a teacher's desk. This is probably due to my high energy, fact paced teaching style. I love using music and technology to get the students interested. I also like to relate English to their lives and show them how they need it. My teaching style would be to find the student's primary learning style and converting the information he or she needs into a format that fits that learning style. Each subject would be made as visible or concrete as possible, so that the student could interact with the material on more than just a visual/conceptual level. Showing the student how the material can relate to real-life situations and opportunities would be a vital part of the instruction.
