My comments on tutoring Homework Help : I have taught elementary, middle, and high school. I am currently teaching psychology at a community college. My experience in education has given me a broad perspective and appreciation for all students at all levels of learning. I am very organized, a people person, and highly motivated. I worked in the Math Department, as either a tutor or a Teaching Assistant, for the past three years. As a Teaching Assistant I led a 50 minute recitation of the material, graded materials, and kept records for my 30 students. As a tutor I helped MSU undergraduates learn key concepts and study for their upcoming exams. I worked in the Algebra room and the Calc I room. For example, to help a geometry student understand the significance of the area of a prizm, I asked him to consider how much paint he needs to buy if he wants to re-paint his room.
