I am a Teen Librarian at the KDL Cascade Library. I have my undergraduate degree in English/Creative Writing from Hope College in Holland, MI; I earned my Masters in Library Science from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. I worked with Open Books Ltd out of Chicago, IL, running Creative Writing Workshops for grade school students 4th-12th grade. I also participated in the Reading Buddies program that helped with reading and comprehension for elementary students. I am organizing and running Teen Writing Workshops for the fall at the library.
