I have two years of experience as a GED tutor, and have graduated 12 students in that time. I have been a computer programmer for 40 years, including 18 years as a freelance programmer. I have dabbled in writing over the years, writing poems, short stores and vignettes. In the past three years I have begun focusing more on writing, and am 2/3 through a novel. Every child learns differently and I believe that discovering what works best for each student is the first step towards success. Once we figure out what his/her learning style is, I cater to this. If you need English help, I'm your girl!

I'm an English education major currently attending Western Michigan University to earn my degree. Before starting at Western I attended Jackson College, where I excelled in my writing classes and was asked to become a writing fellow. Through this program I worked with students at the college answering questions and helping them with any and all works of writing. I also worked within a Jackson area prison helping inmates with various writing and English related issues. Before I began tutoring I wrote for my local newspaper for two years. I worked as a elementary teacher in Romania for about 13 years. I used to work differentiate and with a combination of classes. From the training I received, I learned methodics, how to teach math, science, physical education, arts, and develop other skills. I am patient and know child psychology.
