My freshman class at BYU had over 400 Chemical Engineering students. Sixteen of us graduated, the rest were 'weeded out'. I am just one class short of a BS in Chemistry, and but one class short of a minor in Physics and Norwegian. Electrical Engineering very much mentored my abilities in math, and I did get a minor in math from Utah State University. I have tutored a number of students in math, chemistry and physics, as well as a few in English literature and grammar. I love teaching, and find helping others learn and understand very rewarding. My degree in Civil Engineering pushed me hard to study math. I am not an excellent student in high school but an average student in all subjects. I do stay consistent in coaching through how to problem solve because I don’t want my students to become dependent upon me.
