I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education, which means I took several teaching classes. I have worked with youth for almost 10 years, working in schools, summer camps, and most recently as an director of (3) afterschool programs. I worked as a para-educator for 3 years in a school in central VT, helping tutor a 2nd grader and a 7th grader with their academics I enjoy working with youth, ever since I was in college I have had jobs where I worked with children. How do I summarize teaching in my life? I guess the best way to explain my teaching experience is to tell you a story. As a young girl I wanted to be a teacher. Because of my love of learning I taught all my siblings how to read. I know it is pretty funny but it is a true story. I find working with children rewarding. I am patent and understanding and cater to individual learning styles. I use my artistic sense to help students visually understand learning.
