After completing my undergraduate degree in English Literature at Florida State University, I worked as a substitute teacher in Hillsborough County for two years. In 2009, I completed my Master's Degree in Communication at University of South Florida while simultaneously employed at the Department of Special Education. I have been tutoring with Advanced Learners for 1 year and am currently an Adjunct Instructor of Public Speaking at HCC Dale Mabry.
Once while subbing, I entered a classroom where the students had been allowed to watch Jerry Springer on TV for the last two weeks. I couldn't let this continue, but I saw how emotional the class was about the show. I encouraged them to write their own talk show and told them we would perform it the next day. I find that connecting student's interest with the subject matter to be learned is the best way to teach.

I have experience in university teaching for 5 years at UNIOJEDA (Venezuela). My passion for the linguistic analysis was my band on the classroom all the time and it have spread to my students results who at the end of the semester have gotten great realty in their evaluation. Lived in Italy for 20 years and did all my schooling there. Lived in Roma, Milano, Genova, and Novara. Washington College in Chestertown MD, under recommendation from the Italian Embassy, hired me in 2000 as an Italian Instructor to launch their Italian Language program and curriculum. Taught 6 classes per week with 30 students in each class through 2006. Pioneered a successful program that consistently garnered full enrollment. The program is still in place today.
