As a Literacy Professional, I have a decade of experience teaching adults to read. My specialty was in showing volunteer tutors how to teach dyslexic adults and adolescents. In 1997 I was a teacher assistant for the Huntington Park High School music department. I ran rehearsals with the marching band, jazz band, jazz choir, beginning orchestra, and beginning band. In April of 2000 I started working at Middleton Street School where I had the music program under my direction for almost ten years. Instruments include: Violin, Guitar, Vihuela, Guitarron, Voice, and Trumpet. I currently have my own Mariachi group, and play with other groups who need or are short in musicians.
