I have experience in all of the fields that are listed. Most of the skills I have acquired were either through learning them during my time at school or through doing personal research because they interested me. I have done some tutoring in the computer/i.t field as a side job. Chess has been one of my favorite things to learn. These may be the so called "blocks" that may develop after negative early experiences, preconceptions about the subject, or simply lack of confidence. Replacing resistance with enthusiasm and interest, and then providing expert guidance can then lead to acheivement.

I will tailor my teaching to the individual student. One thing I've learned in my education program is that some kids learn visually while others learn auditorily, and so on. I believe in critical thinking; that is one skill that is lacking in school and in society generally.
