The teachers who continue to influence me and affect my day-to-day life are those who had a genuine passion for teaching and a contagious love for their subject. They were the best teachers, not only because they possessed the necessary knowledge, but because they were animated and caring and able to cater to students' needs. Before coming to college, I volunteered over 100 hours working with a Title 1 child on her reading, writing, and math skills.
