I normally begin helping the students by working out some samples in the textbook and show them how the questions are being worked out. Than I encourage students to work on the questions in their homework or pick out some questions from the textbook to work on. If they are stuck at a question, I help them solve it step by step, and have them redo another similar question till they understand how to solve the problems. Since 1988 I have taught or tutored various levels of students from primary to secondary grade levels. As a student that always excelled (Member of Phi Theta Honor Society, Honor graduate, Raines Scholar, Who's Who Among High School Students, AP student, Vice-President of the National Junior Honor Society) I found it easy to help others understand concepts they may have missed during class.
