I have tutored through the organization Literacy Volunteers in Flagstaff and Lake Havasu. Additionally, I tutored English in a refugee camp in Zambia, when I was with the Peace Corps. While living in Bangladesh, I tutored adults and children in English, as well as other subjects. I taught for three years in Bangladesh at International Turkish Hope School.
My teaching style is to make sure that those I am helping understand what is being talked about. If they do not, we will keep working at it until clear. My Experience: In 1964, I graduated from Columbia College, in Geology. Subsequently, I worked in oil well drilling in Israel, and on a dam project in New Jersey. After earning an MA in Art Education, at Brooklyn College in 1975, I helped found the Waltham Mass. Artists Association, where I created beautiful enamels, and mentored several child students. One of my favorite projects, with friends, was facilitating the creation, exchange, and display of peace and environmental posters, by kids (and adult artists) in the USA and around the world.
