My comments on tutoring Testing Skills : Some students know the information but can't pull it forth for an exam.Some students freeze with fear. Some students truely do not know how to study for an exam . If any of these apply to your student contact me . Your student can succeed.

My most recent position was teaching science to at-risk high school students who averaged 4th grade levels in reading and math. Every participating student earned credits in science, a first for most of them. The student must do the active learning in a classroom, and I foster this by Socratic questioning, discussions, and project work.
