My comments on tutoring SAT - Verbal : Proper preparation for the SAT Verbal is vital.I have helped others I will also assist you, a high score on the Verbal Section is an attainable goal.

I work best in one on one or small groups. I am capable with larger groups as well. My favorite approach is the Charlotte Mason approach. I have worked with a wide variety of Educational Philosophies/Methods and will draw from them when needed.

As a tutor, I believe it is crucial to get students to actively participate in the process. Experience has taught me that students do not respond well to long lectures; instead, I teach by asking questions and encouraging students to find the answers for themselves. Each child is different. A good teacher helps each student meet their expectations while keeping the child interested in the subject matter. Each day my goal is the same, to get the most out of my students, and this can only be done when they are attentive and motivated. I gained my BA in History only after years of serious and devoted study, and I bring a respect for whatever subject I teach to the classroom. After gaining my teaching certification with my MS, I taught history and geography in Alabama. After my Latin American Studies MA. I taught Latin, Greek, and Spanish.
