Children can learn in a variety of ways. Methods utilized will vary upon the needs of the learner. The instructor must be flexible and adapt to the circumstances and needs of the child, teen or adult. Experiential learning is the best way for children to learn and retain the message. Therefore, creativity is important. A tutor may use jingles, rhymes or real life experiences as a way to help a child remember the lessons. Adult learners have their struggles too! Disregarding my history, ethics, and religion expertise, my main reason for applying is my confidence in my capabilities to teach English. Basic parts of speech, syntax, grammar, organization, rhetoric, and multiple genres--from correct usage to specialized purposes (such as academic papers, business, text for oral delivery) have been mastered.
