My teaching styles vary depending on the student. I had one student who was an adult, moving to Ecuador for 2 years to work. My teaching style is tailored to the individual. The first thing I do when I'm trying to teach someone something is determine their learning style. If they don't know it I help them figure it out. I do find that most people learn best by diving in and doing it themselves first, while I serve as a "safety net".
